Umbrella Local Expert Kyong E. Lee co-founded TK Music Inc. in 1999 with only 30 of my students in a small location with 4 teaching rooms. 24 years later, we have 700 lessons with 18 teaching rooms. In 2022, the business passed $1.4 million in gross revenue. The business really picked up after implementing strategies Kyong learned from a business coach since 2016. As an owner/director, Kyong has developed every skill necessary to build a successful business over the years. Operations, administration, customer care, event management, HR, employee training, product development to name a few.
I have been in the music education field for over 30 years. He started as a piano teacher in the early 1990’s while attending Montclair State University in New Jersey. After earning his bachelor’s of music degree in piano performance, he co-founded TK Music, Inc. He has been a dedicated piano teacher/ director/ owner of a music school for the last 25 years. Training is what he enjoys the most about running his business. He has worked with many employees to develop them into great teachers.
